First images of 2015 BMW X6

What you see here are some of the first official images of the 2^nd generation BMW X6.

Sporting a similar family face to the new X5, the X6 retains its coupé-like profile. It’s the same story at the back, with the larger taillights extending deeper into the rear hatch, giving it a better resolved styling.

Powering the new X6 is a range of engine taken from the X5, including an inline-six turbocharged 3.0-litre producing 225kW, a turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 delivering 330kW and a tri-turbo 3.0-litre diesel generating 280kW.

Standard equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, automatic tailgate and 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

A range-topping X6M is expected to join the range further down the track with more than 408kW of power from an uprated 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8.
