Bentley will introduce its new Continental GT3-R at this year’s Pebble Beach gathering in North America.

Said to be the fastest-accelerating and most dynamic Bentley ever produced, the luxury coupe is based on the race-winning Continental GT3 racer. Powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine developing 426kW (572 bhp) and 700Nm of torque, it will propel the 99.7kg lighter Bentley to 60mph from a standstill in just 3.6 seconds before topping out at 170mph (273 km/h).

Inside, the sports seats is draped in Beluga black leather with diamond-quilted Alcantara while there’s lashings of carbon fibre trim and green accents. The GT3-R has also undergone a strict diet, including the removal of the rear seats and a carbon fibre boot lid to shave the above-mentioned 99.7kg from the car.
