The Dubai police force has received yet another high-powered machine to their growing fleet. Brabus handed over the keys to a Brabus B63S-700 Widestar to the city’s law enforcement unit at the 2013 Dubai Motor Show.

The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG-based 4WD has been tuned to produce 522kW (700hp) of power and 960Nm of torque. It is achieved via extensive modification to the car’s 5.5-litre biturbo AMG V8. The stock turbos were replaced by two Brabus turbos with a larger compressor unit for higher boost pressure.

A Brabus Gold Heat Reflection sheathing for the intake and charge-air pipes further lower the charge-air temperature. This contributes to the hike in power as well as durability.

The car will launch from 0-100km/h in just 4.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of 240km/h.

Visually, besides the wealthy city’s police decals, the Brabus fettled G-Wagon wears a Widestar wide body kit with 23-inch Brabus “Platinum Edition” monoblock forged wheels. It is suspended on the tuner’s Dynamic Ride Control suspension that is said to offer the perfect symbiosis of superior ride comfort and dynamic handling.
