C7 Chevrolet Corvette sketches leaked ahead of debut

The seventh-generation Chevrolet Corvette isn’t due until the Detroit Motor Show next month, but a handful of drawings have been leaked on the Corvette Forum online.

These photos look like drawings for the car’s owner’s manual and clearly shows the car’s rear end. The current C6 generation’s chopped-off rump and four round tail-lights have made way for more angular items, not dissimilar to those on the Camaro.

The sketches also show the car’s driver centric cockpit, bucket seats design, view of the engine bay and new instruments. It appears the sports car is also equipped with a Track Overlay function that shows where the car is on the track, while also providing speed, brake/throttle position information, G-force, steering-angle and lap time.

We’ll be bringing you more information in a few weeks time, including official photos and specifications.
