Bugatti Veyron Speedster reportedly in the works

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse Legend editions 08

We know that the Bugatti Veyron is almost sold out; including all the special editions. However, a new report has emerged suggesting that Bugatti is planning a “final” limited edition to send off the supercar that started the supercar wars.

According to Automobile Magazine, the VW-owned company is planning a Veyron-based Speedster to keep the workers busy until the all-new model arrives in 2016. It will be produced in small numbers and gets bespoke body parts, in the same vein as Lamborghini’s Reventon, Sesto Elemento and Veneno.

As for its price? It’s anybody’s guess at this stage but don’t expect the car to be cheaper than the Veyron on which it is based.
