BMW Group Australia has announced it will pass on the Luxury Car Tax concessions to its customers.
With the Luxury Tax Threshold increased from $61,884 to $63,184 for the 2015/16 financial year, the changes will see price reductions of up to $390 apply to all affected models in the BMW range.
Vehicles classified as fuel-efficient under the taxation system are unaffected by the indexation, with the fuel-efficient car limit for the upcoming financial year remaining $75,375.
The anticipated change was absorbed into the pricing of related BMW vehicles launched last month, including the M135i and entire 6 Series range.
