Australian Subaru BRZ – 0 to 201 in 3 hours!

The Subaru BRZ which officially went on sale online yesterday has been sold out in just three hours!

Yes, all 201 allocation for Australia this year are gone! Most customers who ordered online paid a deposit of between A$3,000 – A$5,000, so it is nothing to sneeze at.

Within the first minute of the site going ‘live’, it attracted eight buyers with one customer taking just 20 minutes to complete the whole sales process, from specifying the car, colour to accessaries.

Subaru Australia is continuing to take orders but deliveries won’t be made until early 2013.

If you don’t mind the badge, head over to your nearest Toyota showroom, just don’t tell Subaru about it, as the Toyota 86 is just as much fun.
