Jaguar has unveiled its new facelifted 2018 F-Type which brings more technology, updated design and new variants.

The updated F-Type range is now packed with even more drive-focused technology and a broader model range, comprising 22 derivatives from the purist appeal of the rear-wheel drive, 250kW F-Type to the 322km/h, all-wheel drive F-Type SVR.

Every F-Type also includes the new ReRun app, which was co-developed with GoPRo and combines the video from an action camera of the brand with key performance data real-time, including speed, throttle position, gear selection, braking force and G-Force. The video can then be downloaded to the driver’s smartphone and shared.

The 2018 model also adopts Jaguar’s latest Touch Pro infotainment system as standard, bringing a high-resolution display, faster responses, real-time traffic information amongst others.

Jaguar has not fiddle too much with the F-Type’s attractive styling, with the new model receiving modest changes such as variant-specific bumpers and new full LED headlights.

To mark the introduction of the new F-Type range, Jaguar has developed 400 units of exclusive Sport launch editions, which goes on sale for one model year only. Power from the new 400PS (294kW) version of the 3.0-litre supercharged V6 engine is complemented by an uprated chassis comprising the Super Performance braking system, Configurable Dynamics and 20-inch wheels with a unique Dark Satin Grey finish.
