2016 Ford Focus RS first photos leaked ahead of debut

The first official images of the Ford Focus RS have been leaked online ahead of its official debut later today. The highly anticipated 2016 Ford Focus RS is the new performance flagship of the range, packing the Mustang’s four-cylinder 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine delivering anywhere between 242 to 261kW (325 to 350 bhp).

Speculations point to an all-wheel-drive system with torque-vectoring at the front axle, allowing to hot hatch to hit 100km/h from rest in under five seconds.

Distinguishing elements on the Focus RS is an exclusive Liquid Blue exterior paintwork, pumped up body work including larger air intakes and revised bumpers, a rear spoiler and a fresh set of double-spoke alloy wheels.
