While nothing is official, it would only be a matter of time before BMW rolls out an M2 coupé to sit at the top of the 2 Series range. Rumour is the new model will hit the market sometime in 2016.
As no prototypes have yet been caught so far, BMW enthusiasts at BMW Blog has taken it upon themselves to imagine what the M2 might look like with a highly realistic rendering of the go fast coupé.
Taking design cues from the recently released BMW M4 coupé as well as the previous generation 1M, the rendering is possibly the closest you get to the real thing for now and we absolutely love what we are seeing.
