The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe is not due to make its first public appearance until the Geneva Motor Show in March. However, thanks a leak on the internet, we can now have a first glimpse of the S-Class Coupe production model.

The high resolution official photo of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe shows the production model getting the same silhouette as the concept model (pictured below) shown in September last year at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The CL-Class replacement is expected to share the same engine lineup as its four-door sibling, including derivatives of the S63 and the fire-breathing 430kW/900Nm S65 AMG. The large coupe will sit just below the Mercedes SLS supercar in the company’s lineup.

The new S-Class coupe’s interior will mimic the one in the sedan albeit with small changes to suit the coupe’s sporty pretensions. The production version is also expected to have similar dimensions as the concept, at 5050mm long, 1958mm wide and 1409mm high with a 2945mm wheelbase.

The S-Class Coupe is due to hit showrooms worldwide in 2015.
