2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray got T-boned in the US

One of the first Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays to hit the road has been t-boned in the US. The Cyber Gray example, one of General Motor’s test cars, was hit by an older generation Lincoln Town Car recently near the company’s Technical Centre in Warren, Michigan.

No other information is available at this stage and we hope that the occupants of both cars are alright. We are sure Chevrolet’s engineers will be eager to evaluate the wreck to see how it stands up in a real-life crash.

Customer deliveries of the Corvette Stingray are set to begin soon. The Stingray is powered by GM’s small block 6.2-litre LT1 V8 engine that produces 336kW of power and 610Nm of torque, enough to propel the car from 0-60mph in under 4 seconds.
