2013 Hyundai Grand Santa Fe heading to Geneva Motor Show

Hyundai has announced it will be unveiling the new Grand Santa Fe at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month.

The full size SUV is 10mm taller, 5mm wider and 225mm longer than the regular Santa Fe and has a 100mm longer wheelbase. This gives the Grand Santa Fe a best-in-class cargo area of 607 litres. It will be available in both 5-seater or 7-seater configuration.

Unlike the smaller Santa Fe, which is offered in both diesel and petrol forms, the Grand Santa Fe will only be available with a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 145 kW (197 horsepower). It will be paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The Grand Santa Fe features a different grille, front bumper, fog lights and larger rear quarter, and rides on either 18-inch or 19-inch wheels.

It is not confirm whether the Grand Santa Fe will be brought into Australia.
