2013 Ford Focus ST on sale in the UK priced from £21,995

The new Ford Focus ST has just gone on sale in the UK. First deliveries of Ford’s latest hot-hatch will commence in September.

The latest Focus ST is available in two body styles, a five-door hatchback priced from £21,995 on the road, and an Estate from £23,095.

Both models are powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 247hp (250PS/184kW), driving the front wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.

Official fuel economy is rated at 39.2mpg UK (7.2l/100km or 32.7mpg US), while CO2 emission is a claimed 169g/km. This translates to a 20 percent improvement over the previous model.

The Focus ST will arrive into showrooms in three trim levels: ST1, ST2 and ST3. Standard features include Ford Power keyless start, cloth Recaro sport seats, DAB radio, Bluetooth and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Moving up to ST2 will get you partial leather seats, an upgraded Sony sound system, auto headlights, rain sensing wipers, floor mats and auto dimming rear view mirror. The range topping ST3 adds headed leather seats, bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights and keyless entry.

Other options include rado-grey alloy wheels, red brake callipers and illuminated scuff plates.
