2012 D1 Grand Prix Round 1: Odaiba

The first round of the 2012 D1 drifting championship took place recently in Odaiba, Japan. The day started off with massive rain and the competition was held under wet conditions. Despite the unforgiving weather condition, the event still managed to draw a large crowd.

Finishing 3rd at the Formula Drift Streets in Long Beach just last week, Daigo Saito managed to cling another podium finish by taking home the win at Round 1 of the D1 GP in his JZX100 Toyota Mark II.
