The results are in for the 2012 Australia’s Best Car (ABC) Awards. Now in its 20th year, the ABC Awards are presented by the Australian Automobile Association on behalf of Australia’s Motoring Clubs.
The national judging panel was headed by Mark Borlace, with over 30 years of motor industry experience. Representatives from the NRMA, RACV, RACQ, RAASA, RACWA, RACT and AANT were also on the panel.
The judging criteria takes into account price, depreciation, fuel efficiency, running and repair costs, warranty, insurance and standard features. The vehicle’s design and function, and safety and build quality are also taken into consideration.
