1,491kW twin-turbo Lamborghini Gallardo crashed into lake [video]

Lamborghin Gallardo crashed into lake

The driver of a heavily tuned Lamborghini Gallardo has crashed his supercar while doing almost 322km/h (200mph). While the driver was relatively unscathed except for a bruised ego, the car wasn’t as fortunate, as it end up in a lake.

According to some reports, the tuned Gallardo was pumping out more than 1,491kW (2,000 bhp) from its twin-turbo 5.2-litre V10 and was attempting a ½ mile run at the WannaGOFAST event in Florida, USA, when he lost control of the car before it ended up in a nearby lake.

Fortunately, the car wasn’t a complete write-off, but would need major repairs. Some of you might also notice the Gallardo was missing its rear bumper before the crash. It was reportedly removed because previous runs have damaged the diffuser.
