Facelifted 2018 BMW M2 surfaced on the web prematurely

BMW has accidently leaked images of its facelifted 2018 BMW M2 on the company’s Belgian site iPad edition.

You may be thinking we’re talking bull but look closely and you’ll notice the slightly rejigged full-LED headlights that now feature more angular “angel eyes” similar to those on the latest 3- and 5-series instead of the old circular shape.

Around the back, the makeover is similarly limited to the discreetly restyled taillights.

While no images of the interior have been published, we can expect the updated cabin to feature BMW’s latest iDrive.

Underneath the bonnet, the twin-turbo 3.0-litre inline-six mill will likely carry over albeit tweaked to improve efficiency and possibly a minor bump in output.
