Event: 2011 Battle Evome at Tsukuba Circuit

The Battle Evome racing series at the Tsukuba circuit in Japan has been gradually gaining popularity with more and more tuners using this event to benchmark their cars against the very best out there. Over the years lap times around the famous Tsukuba circuit have improved with cars now running below the one minute mark a norm.

The 2011 Battle Evome has just ended last Sunday. Just like previous years, it was very well received and there was never a shortage of the meanest and loudest track machines turning up to give the 2.045 mile circuit a quick blast.

The third fastest car from last year, the Scorch Advan Nissan Silvia S15 clocked in the best lap time this year with a time of 55.790. The S15 managed to blow the field away thanks to more extensive use of weight saving carbon fiber body panels and some tweaking to the aerodynamics and handling of the car including wider wheel fenders.

Second spot is claimed by the Exceed Moat Nissan Silvia S14 with a time of 57.196 seconds.

The third fastest car around the circuit is the Kyushu-Danji Honda NSX with a best time of 58.773 seconds.
