2016 Motor Fan Festa and D1 Grand Prix graces Fuji Speedway

The 2016 D1 Grand Prix round 2 and Motor Fan Festa were held at the Fuji Speedway in Japan over the past weekend.

Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the famed circuit, the event featured everything from new car booths and demo runs to tuned up cars and motorsports. Special appearances like the Lotus 88 F1 with its ‘Twin Chasis’, and a Subaru Impreza WR driven by Colin McRay were also present, so were the biggest names in the Japanese tuning scene such as Liberty Walk, Rocket Bunny and Aimgain.

Then, of course, there was the D1 drifting championship, which is entering its 15th year in 2016. Check out a selection of photos from the event below.
