German tuner Manhart Racing has introduced their latest project – a track-prep BMW M235i Coupe – called the MH2 400 Clubsport.

The 3.0-litre in-line six TwinPower Turbo engine under the bonnet gets a larger intercooler and remapped ECU. The turbo boost has been wound up a few notches and a bespoke 200-cell high performance exhaust system takes care of the back end.

The performance upgrades lift power up from the standard 240 kW and 450 Nm to a potent 316 kW and 592 Nm. This allows the M235i to sprint from zero to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds, en route to an unlimited top speed of over 300 km/h.

Keeping things tidy at the corners is a set of KW three-way adjustable coilover suspension with track set-up, along with 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres measuring 225/35ZR19 at the front and 255/30ZR19 at the rear. Six-piston front brake calipers replace the standard four-port items for extra stopping power.

Subtle changes to the exterior include a front lip spoiler, rear boot lid spoiler and rear diffuser for improved aerodynamics.

Inside, the Manhart tuned BMW M235i gets a pair of Recaro Pole Position bucket seats with four-point harness for the front occupants. The rear seats have been completely removed to make way for a matching yellow roll cage.
