Three months into its launch and now finally, a proper performance upgrade kit for the BMW M4. The latest project from German tuner Lightweight sees the M4 getting a power boost from the standard 317kW and 550Nm to a substantial 382kW and 650Nm.

The increase in output comes from a remapped engine control unit for the turbocharged 3.0-litre in-line six engine and titanium performance exhaust system with valve control.

Coping with the extra performance is a set of Bilstein Clubsport suspension, uprated brakes and lightweight BBS 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber measuring 265/35/19 for the front and 285/35/19 at the rear.

The Lightweight tuned BMW M4 is distinguishable with a front splitter and adjustable rear spoiler, all made from carbon fibre.

While launching the package, the company announced that it is also working on track-ready upgrade kit for the M4 consisting of adjustable front spoiler, rear diffuser, enclosed underbody, roll cage and racing bucket seats with six-point harnesses.
