FAB Design’s McLaren MP4-12C Spider Terso

FAB Design has developed a body kit for the McLaren MP4-12C Spider. Called the Terso body kit, the car was showcased at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Salon recently.

The Terso kit features enlarged front air-intakes, updated side air-intakes, side skirts, diffuser and rear bumper. It essentially transforms the stoic looking MP4-12C Spider into a bad boy, especially with the boy-racer style rear spoiler which is installed over the top of the stock unit. There is also a front splitter that is mounted at the bottom of the front windscreen.

The FAB Design MP4-12C Spider rolls on a set of 20-inch Evolution forged wheels with matching body colour piping. They are wrapped in Dunlop SP SportMaxx tyres. The tuner also swapped the stock exhaust system with a proprietary sport exhaust system and a three-chamber carbon tailpipe. Together other tweaks, power has been turned up a notch from 460kW (616hp) to 507kW (680hp).

As a result, the McLaren MP4-12C Spider Terso storms to 100km/h (62mph) in just 3 seconds and top out at 343km/h (213mph).

To keep the kit exclusive, FAB Design will only produce 10 units of the Terso kit.
